I chose yours, haha. The other one did look cool, but there was something about yours that was vague that really turned me onto it. I chose the middle one, that has the green almost finger print looking things on it.

Haha, now that I look over it though, I like the first one. Anyways, props to ya. Now I'm off to learn how to some of this jazz. Any tips for n00bs at this?

tips ..lets see....when i first started my work would be ugly and dirty...but dont be discourgaed by an ugly setup becasue somtimes one click of a layer style or filter makes the ugliest sig awesome...some sigs up there made a 180 with the click of 2 buttons. and also keep all yur layers organized and name them if you get confused easily.

i know what ya mean and thats one of the areas im working on...trying to stray away from lines and get into the mix of the colors and how they agree. on my part and alot of other ppl animations liven it up with some sigs and with others animations brings it down. i love ani's though.

I just want a cool futuristic banner and I think of ways to improve the look of things. Who knows maybe if I get photoshop or something (what program you use?) I might open my own shop if I have the time. Maybe design the next big video game or cool looking websites. Since technology is going to advance, internet will become faster which means, more cool looking flash made sites.

Try messing with layers I never worked on photoshop but I have a little experience with macromedia/adobe fireworks. Thanks to web design class.

yeah its all about tyhe layers and layer modes. go online to google and type in phothsop tutorials anbd youll find plenty.

Just realized, nobody answered my question. How do you get a character on there? I tried to put on Jinx (the guy in my signature), but when I did, he had a huge white square around him. How do I get rid of that?

Believe in the power of the layers and with layers you can make the image as a layer and change the background of that one layer/image to transparant therefore having the pic with the cool background you made.
