how do i do a shine to bair?

does the shine have to hit at a particular angle relative to the opponent...where are you trying to send them?

and do i need to have forward momentum from a jump to do it?

or are there specific percentages only?

It works if the opponent DI's up from the shine or DI's into you.

Basically, it's mostly speed, but you can make it easier for yourself by hitting them with the top of the shine.

i have a question though, is it possible to shineturn and still get the bair? i've never done it but i dont play fox too often and my hands are pretty slow.

you shine and then you jump then you back air.

oh there's no shine turn? bah i wasted an hour then...getting the hit stun down on the shine for the turn..oh well...if it's just shine to bair i could already do it with falco:\ though the timing is probably tighter

You can add a turn around if you want, it's just harder.

i figured maybe it was dependent on where the shine will send them...so i figured since you're probably running at them if they DI'd away on the throw, then you would need to turn around before the bair..but i guess i'm wrong...oh well, not the first time i learned something overly flashy and useless

ya, and he definitely shine turns those...also, i don't see how this could require up or in DI because at the points in the vid silent wolf linked i see no reason marth would be DIing up or in rather than away as per usual.

eggz combo is so easy! you can even do it from the ground by uthrow shine bair on fox/falco no DI.
