Edguarding fox

I was thinking at low percents instead of trying to dair them from the bottom i'll just let them pass the edge a little bit and crouch cancel the firefox to down smash. They should get hit if they think I'm going to dair, and if they grab the ledge just wait for them to dair and sheild the drill to shine? and if they backflip jump to phantasm just fsmash.

if they're at low enough percent they won't be able to tech the d-air, but this might be useful if they are past that threshold.

If you land the downsmash though, you kind of just reset the situation right? Since it's at low percents, it won't kill them outright.

Also, if you're planning on them going past the edge with the firefox you should just do the sh non fastfall dair that prevents them from teching and kills them, or do the runoff dj dair. Why would you want to dsmash instead of dairing them?

i believe he means the falco is at low percents (making the CC possible)
but i may be mistaken. sounds like a smart edge guard against fox.

Usually when I dair fox they either tech it multiple times and then sweetspot the edge, or tech and use firefox to cross the ledge threshold when i dair and it hits me, so i was thinking using cc edgeuards from the begining might be a little better, since they will be expecting a dair they will hug the ledge a little bit and that will make them cross onto the stage allowing me to cc the firefox and downsmash them.

if u delay your dair ..foxe's woudnt tech as much..problem solved
