Edge hop backward waveland possible?

When I edge hop i can waveland forward back onto the stage but I cant seem to edge hop then waveland bacwards off the edge again. The reason I want to do that is so i can waveland off the stage with an up-air when edgeguarding. Is it even possible.

Please answer this because I dont want to pratice timing something that isnt even possible.

I do it all the time. Just practice.

Yeah. Try using c-stick back to let go of the edge and use the stick to jump on the ledge.

If you can ledgedash forward, it should be almost as easy to do it backward. The timing is the same exact way, except you hold the control stick away rather than forward.

It's very possible and very easy for that matter. but ya watch that video it's old poorly edited ect. but it'll show you what you want to see.
