Is Meta easy to learn or get competitive with?

I hear this a lot, and I main Sheik, so I am looking for a new main ( for tourneys, and stuff to win ) and even though hes high tier I like his play style. But is it gonna be a long hard path or an easier one?

if he is your style than it will be easy but if he is not then it wont be easy

He is easy to get good with but just being good won't get you anywhere.Now to get great with him is a different thing, regardless of what people say, he still takes skill to win tournaments with just less than other characters.

Meta Knight is easy to learn, yes. Getting competitive with, no.
Actually, let me expand on that, because no character is "easy" to get competitive with, but compared to the rest of the cast, MK is probably one of the easiest.
Don't start maining him just based on that, though, or you probably won't get far.
