East Dreamland glitch

I play in Dreamland a lot. Some of you might have noticed a glitch on the right side of Dreamland. It can happen with DI or teleports or something. This happened to me like 3 times with pika:

I'm recovering on the right side with pika. I do an upB left and down to grab the edge, I missed the edge and went left too far, and then instead of being at the ground left to the right edge, I'm suddenly left of the whole stage (and I die ).

I was never able to recreate it, but today it happened to me again but with Jiggs instead of Pika, when I DI-ed. And I recorded it! The link is below. Does anyone know the official name for this glitch, or did anyone else record it or do it on purpose?

It seems it makes you go from the right edge to the left edge, kind of like (dr) mario's cape teleport glitch in melee.

House or antd will come in and say "this is really old"

happens on other stages, to do with the character touching/passing the stage boundary

Clipping teleport glitch, is that the name? Is it possible by DIing any attack? Any other moves like pika's upB that can do this?

Of course it's old. The game is old. I haven't seen it in any vid though.

and the effects (blur and sepia tone) were completely useless

ive never seen it before with DI, only when you upB, and also on other stages like antd said it can happen

This happens to me once in a blue moon with Pikachu's up-B. It would be annoying if it happened more often, but as it it's good for a laugh.

Happened to me before, made a similar post around a year ago. Can't remember the responses or be bothered to find it but it's around somewhere.

I remember the details of when it happened to me.... as Pika, upB downwards off right edge of stage then down -diagonal towards the edge in an attempt to grab it and instead of grabbing it just flew out the left edge of the stage

happened to me while being ness, but on the left side of dreamland, used up b towards the edge and right when i was going to grab on the pika fsmashed me and i ended up on the other side

This glitch was used in my pika btp tas run (block glitch). It uses the same principle.

I've never seen this happen before, until after I read this thread. I don't exactly remember when, but it was recently and it happened to my Luigi's fireball, and I'm sure it was on Hyrule.

So what happens if this happens to Pikachu in Mushroom Kingdom... in the pit... on the left ledge? Is it an instant death?
