Earth Day should be abolished for its communist, undemocratic undertones and be replaced with:
"FREEDOM-LIBERTY-CAPITALISM-DOWN WITH THE PROLETARIAT" Day.

Mhm I thought so, we'll man, I already do everything listed towards the description of lists and more. I will note as an avid user and lover of CRTs, they do use more power than LED TVs and can emit small bits of radiation.

Unplugging the consoles seems like a lot of trouble over nothing. Pretty sure the biggest hogs of power - by an order of magnitude - in any home are cooling and heating. You'd do far more good just easing off on the AC or heater.

It's also kind of strange to promote the use of CRT's even though they're much less energy-efficient than LCD's. If they're good enough for EVO Street Fighter IV finals they're good enough for Melee. I'm all for recycling electronics that are still perfectly usable, but it still seems a bit backwards.

Still, it's good to think about these things, so I appreciate the article.
