Yep, a bunch of RPGs that have been out in Japan for a year. Fun stuff.

Hope whatever we got on SUMO isn't some silly gimmick like Pokemon-ame or contests... Pokemon GO I'm already swearing off from what we've seen so far.

I would like a good new DKC... It's been a while since we got one.
Tropical Freeze was only two years ago, though. Compared to how long it's been since there was a good new Metroid or F-Zero, that's basically nothing.

Beyond Nintendo Gears of War 4, Mighty No. 9 and Xbox One slim will be what I look forward to from Microsoft. From Sony A possible Crash Bandicoot return, and a new Elder Scrolls game. And Playstation 4 Neo PS4K Pokemon Sun/Moon and Zelda U are what I look forward to most from Nintendo.

I'd love to see a new Donkey Kong Country the challenge, music, and levels would be grand I just hope King K. Rool and The Kremlings are back as the main villains with it though, hopefully on NX.

Nintendo's announced that they'll be showing Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest 7, and the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE game on the Treehouse stream, which just leaves me wondering why they couldn't have said that in the first place instead of "we are literally only showing Zelda".
Fixed that for you.

Glad that there is more to see at E3, even if they are older games. I'm actually interested to see what new things we can get out of Pokemon Sun and Moon (maybe some gameplay of a Gym or some new wild Pokemon species). But that's not to say I'm not looking forward to the day of Zelda ether.

Sorry I haven't been keeping the countdown updated. Laptop is in for repairs and I only just found my password.

You are the first person I have ever heard of that has disliked Tropical Freeze.
I know a few people who think it's an extremely lazy rehash of DKC Returns, granted some of these tend to have pretty unpopular opinions to begin with (i have some myself but not to this extent i think).
As for the Kremlings and K. Rool, even if not the main villains of the game i hope they're at least put onto some other section of the game or at least have K. Rool as some sort of boss. I was pretty disappointed to only have a somewhat possible reference to K. Rool in Tropical Freeze.

Perhaps K.Rool and the Kremlings should have the same role as Star Wolf did in Assault and onward; rivals/nemesis, but not the true evil and sometimes side with the protagonists much to their own dismay. I mean, if it were to happen in only one game, wouldn't it just be sweet?

To be honest, I don't really get the appeal for the Kremlings. They were pretty boring and lacked personality until you got to K. Rool's five lines of text with the forced and out of place Scooby-Doo reference.

Sure, Tiki Tong and Lord Frederik weren't as memorable as main villains, but I'd say all the random enemies and bosses were way more interesting then what the original trilogy had to offer.

All the companies are giving announcements BEFORE E3 now. It's like how the stores pulled back Christmas to August.

I didn't care for the level design in DKCR:TF, personally. Never played it through single-player, but from my experience in co-op, a ton of the levels from World 3 on were ones where the level's falling out from under you, meaning you couldn't take your time, but also seemed to punish you for rushing in headlong, creating a sort of uneasy tension that somewhat took away from my enjoyment of the levels themselves. I never really cared for the physics in either of the Returns games either (a ton more gravity on DK in particular), but I don't recall the original Returns being so punishing on a first playthrough. I will say the levels looked gorgeous, and the extra characters' abilities were pretty fun, but I probably won't play it again any time soon when I have Returns and the original DKC games to go back to.

But that's just my two cents...

On topic, I'm excited to see what'll come of the Pokémon Sun & Moon coverage, even if it's nothing we haven't seen already. I'm really hoping we get to see more of Color Splash, though; I can't go on not knowing whether to care about it or not.

Well Crash remakes confirmed, finally he's back :chuckle:. Wish they'd remake Team Racing as well, imagine playing that with how it looks in the cover art, renders and such. I think Sony has won this E3 for me simply because of this.
But Nintendo's :4link: :4pikachu: presentation is just in a few hours from now.

Zelda has a name now: Breath of the Wild. Also, we have voice acting (though it looks to just be for the game's helper character), a much more open world, and a wider variety of weapons and mobility options.

The new Zelda seems really... Well, empty. Actually it's everything I don't like about things like Skyrim and almost nothing I like about Zelda so far. At least the combat doesn't look like garbage.

I had the exact opposite reaction. For the first time since TP I'm actually excited for a new LoZ game. Even if it is aping other games, I feel like it might just be a breath of fresh air for the series.

Plus VOICE ACTING. Finally, we might actually get voice acting in a LoZ game.

I just hope Nintendo doesn't shoehorn the ALttP formula into this one.

It doesn't even seem to be taking anything good from other games... It's just big to be big. All they get from killing enemies are a few materials and consumable weapons, when you could just ignore them entirely and save your stuff for the forced fights like Sticker Star.

Voice acting is confirmed... For one disembodied voice. The old fart (who's confirmed to be important to the plot) and the sages they've talked to are silent, and the game should realistically be complete right now. I've heard the Japanese trailer even has English voices, so it's not like they've been lazy with the localization.

And Aonuma also said that a Skyward Sword HD isn't too out of the question.

But I'm sure plenty of people were left with a bad taste in their mouth's after Twilight Princess HD. But who wouldn't be sane enough to want HD Groose? :awesome:

Has anyone here seen the Nintendo of Europe tweet hinting at Mario Kart 8? I think something related to the game might come up during tomorrow's live stream along with Monster Hunter Generations, Pokemon GO and a few others.

Hoo-boy E3 was something Crash Bandicoot is back baby yeah! And that's not all cause Pokemon Sun and Moon and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild's gameplay was awesome! Pokemon Sun and Moon was the highlight for me with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being a close second great stuff! Yeah Yoshisarus I saw it nothing came of it yet they could be teasing a third DLC pack and maybe it'll happen. But if we don't get anything by at least fall I say they were probably just joking. Too bad cause Mario Kart 8 DLC at E3 would have been great. But oh well Nintendo's E3 was great enough! And it was!
