I didn't care for the level design in DKCR:TF, personally. Never played it through single-player, but from my experience in co-op, a ton of the levels from World 3 on were ones where the level's falling out from under you, meaning you couldn't take your time, but also seemed to punish you for rushing in headlong, creating a sort of uneasy tension that somewhat took away from my enjoyment of the levels themselves. I never really cared for the physics in either of the Returns games either (a ton more gravity on DK in particular), but I don't recall the original Returns being so punishing on a first playthrough. I will say the levels looked gorgeous, and the extra characters' abilities were pretty fun, but I probably won't play it again any time soon when I have Returns and the original DKC games to go back to.
But that's just my two cents...
On topic, I'm excited to see what'll come of the Pokémon Sun & Moon coverage, even if it's nothing we haven't seen already. I'm really hoping we get to see more of Color Splash, though; I can't go on not knowing whether to care about it or not.
