I believe Sal. I think DLC is actually a good idea.

Post launch DLC is an entirely different beast, and not something I think Nintendo would actually do. To clarify, post launch DLC is DLC that is released almost directly after the game is released. There's a ton of controversy surrounding it and it's not something I want to get into.

Fire Emblem Awakening had DLC for the first few months after release.
Mario Golf had Day 1 DLC.
There was also DLC for New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Pikmin 3 as well.
