so i'm pretty confident in my lucas playing ability but at times i tend to make really dumb mistakes. like pk thundering myself off the map or not hitting myself in the correct spot when im trying to recover. pretty much just trouble with that. anyone else find themselves making silly mistakes like that or anything else that?

Dont worry, PKT control comes in time. I used to attempt a floorblast but instead shot myself to my doom.
And the wavebounce thing is annoying with the magnet, but horrible with PK Freeze.

I find myself doing that often and I sometimes accidentally use PK Freeze instead of PK Thunder.

These things just happen and if you practice it stops happening. When I started wavebouncing without b-sticking(I never got used to b sticking, ruined my game more than it helped me) a few days ago I ended up doing PK freeze about 40% of the time, but now it's only about 5%.

The only mistake I make nowadays is messing the timing of PK Fire while in the air, so he whiffs it.

Lol, instead of Pk-Thunder, i use Pk-Freeze. Those mistakes are inevitable, you're bound to make them some day. :p
But with the PK-Thunder Boost (PK-Missle) it takes practice, go to training mode and jump of the ledge and use it, it take time but it's worth it, i can use Pk-thunder on myself every now and then, i've never used it to kill myself xD.

It's just a matter of control and the control of your "emotions" because obviously when you use it while trying to recover yourself, you're sort of panicking as well, heck who wouldn't? Lucas'/Ness' recovery move are manually done, not automatic ._."

Anyways, practice makes perfect ;D

I really hate when I mistime thunderslides. Sometimes I lose the feel for it if I don't play for a while.

I guess playing people on a consistent basis is pretty important to the game. I really only pick the wrong move when I haven't played for like a week or so.
