Dthrow or Fthrow at the Ledge

Just a short and open discussion on whether or not it is better to Dthrow or Fthrow. Here is just a few pointers for both.

Fthrow

•More knockback towards death boundary.

•More possible chances for a gimp and makes for a probable Wall of Pain.

• No set knockback, so not very easy to punish.

• If at low %'s, can jump into a semi-charged Fsmash.

• If you know the character uses a predictable recovery, edgehogs well.


Dthrow
•Has a set knockback, so is easy to follow through with.

•Has a possibility to regrab and repeat if opponent jumps back on stage.

•Can stagespike with a Bair at high %'s if timed right.

•Can Wall of Pain with continued Fairs.

•Easier to predict recovery.

Most of the pointers seem to rely on the likelihood of what your opponent might do, just know that we're not going to get the result we want all the time.
Wall-of-pain forward airs hardly ever works because it's laggier than back air and is more punishable because of the lack of priority, so just wall-of-pain backairs instead.
Don't forget grab releasing maneuvers.

Wall-of-pain forward airs hardly ever works.
The way I use Fair Wall of Pains, I wait for the opponent to use the second jump. Then depending on the recovery, I continue to wait until they recover, then if all fails attempt to *** spike them while I recover.
