It all depends on why the character list is being posted. If the T.O wants to post of the characters people used in singles, that is up to them.

And if Ankoku's list is about who helped a player advance in bracket I'd still disagree. If I use mario vs 4 scrubs, I get mario listed, but if Keitaro uses mario 1 match out of each 3 match set he fights vs 4 top players, he can't have his mario listed?

Also, stop banning a character that can't win; even Mew2King lost in both singles and doubles last weekend to Snake (because Snake has the advantage, duh, like I've been saying for over a year) and Tyrant lost to Snake and Ice Climbers and he's the supposed #2 MK.

Seriously, Chibo. You have absolutely no grounds to ban MK at this point. He can't win in this region even when Mew2King shows up.

no i agree, i love friday night tournies. it still leaves my weekend open for anything and everything. its just that im not actually able to host em on friday till i move back. while living at home i need to drive up TVs to the venue to use for the tourney and I cant use my parents car on friday night (not to mention i would need to go home after work then drive back, which i wouldnt get back to the city till like 9 o clock lol)


il tell ya what...

if people can bring TVs to the venue (ul get a venue fee discount), then I will still hold the tourney on friday. i just cant provide my own TVs. the venue comes with the one normal big TV (this would be in the venue the biweeklies were in last year, not the one we used for DSO9), so we would need atleast 3 other TVs to run the tourney. my regular friday night biweeklies normally only have 4 setups anyway and run more than fine.

I can bring a TV if you guys really need it, but bringing a TV on a train is going to be odd, at the least. It's a tough weekend, but I'll do what I can to make it. I just have to know the times and such.

its not fair to all of a sudden allow mk halfway through the circuit (not fair to both mk mains and non mk mains). its more for consistency, testing, etc.

after DSO 11, rules will be open again for discussion

Honestly, I would ask you NOT to bring it because it seems like extra stress and work on getting to the tournament and back. If you bring it, good ****, but don't feel bad if you bail on that idea, that seems rather difficult.

i still need money to give to the DSO group at drexel, generally events like this through the school have to be somewhat profit making for the organization or they wont let u hold it (that money doesnt go to me) and if i get a lil money, its practically because this is my job. sure i cant bring my TVs, thats a rare thing tbh, however im still hosting the whole thing and going through all of the work with school in reserving the event and what not.

I wish I can confirm this, but I don't know if I have to do any volunteer work on Friday. If I can make the tournament, though, I will bring a TV, seeing as we're in dire need of setups. It wouldn't be hard to actually carry the TV over (it's a small TV), it's just more of a "WTF why is this guy carrying a TV in a train" awkwardness, but I can get past that.
