DR to F-tilt x 3.
DR to Grounded Shuttle Loop.
DR to D-tilt to dash grab (especially if it trips.)
DR to grab.
DR to D-smash.

I haven't seen many MK's use Drill Rush as a combo starter. I know it's not an abuseable move, but it's fast enough to catch people off guard with. By the way, these combos only work if DR is aimed towards the ground forcing the opponent into the ground gives them a bit more hitstun.

I like to point it down when it pushes someone off and down past the ledge, and I can pop back onto the ledge safely. In a 3 stock match, I probably would use DR once, if at all.. I just forget that I even have it. Sometimes I subconsciously press it to recover and im more suprised than my opponent is. :)

I just recover with it and throw it in as an attack like 2 or so times a match.

Now I can follow those 2 times up nice stuff Calibur
I usually do this 4-5 times a match. Work's better at low %. Although it can still semi-combo at mid and higher %. Doesn't work as well on floaty and small characters. Your welcome.

It's not called Drill Rush. It's called dmbrandon.

Get it right.
Aww, but Drill Rush is top tier, dmbrandon is low tier.

Use it to punish rolls (if you don't like Dash Attack).

No there isn't as previously stated it gives off more hitstun if you aim it towards the ground plus at lower percentages it can trip which is pretty much a free anything (except f-smash)
