Alex3: Pretty cool, though I think it'd look better if you smudged her- him, or, is it an it?

Keto: I really like yours, Jiggly singing in a stage and all. Though you could improve by by perfecting the shading on her, would make it look more natural.

Edit: mine is about half-way done, though I might not finish it till Friday.

A little off topic, but it relates to jigglypuff

Anyways, remember in the pokemon show, jigglypuff would draw on people's faces when they were sleeping? Well, there was one episode where Brock was asleep and jigglypuff drew eyes on his face (you know how he only has those slits for eyes). Anyways, it was pretty funny. Just a nostalgic moment for those who remember

it's digital, with a tablet--not sure that that counts as. I think digital
it is digital and while we're on the subject.............
this is going to bug me until zook explains why it is digital.
i think if you draw it and scan it or draw with a tablet it should be in its own catorgory. most times when people use a tablet or scan a picture, rather than using a mouse, is because thet find it easier to capture the form. with a pencil-led or tablet, you have more control over your lines. and then they use the computer because it is easier to add color. the computer is alot more forgiving of mistakes and allows more ways to minipulate(?) your drawing. so if you were to remove either one the final artwork would be different. either the form may be off some or the color range and background may not be present , or still present but to a lesser extent. so i dont think you can apropiatly fit it into either catergory and it should have its own

Drawing, scanning, and then using a tablet et cetera should be considered either its own category or in the "Other" category. I guess you could try entering the piece into both categories too...right?

I think I'm going to try something different for Jiggly...hmm.

If I were to place drawings that were hand-drawn, but also digitally enhanced, in the hand-drawn category, that wouldn't be fair those without fancy-pantsy editting programs.

For example, Spire's art is definately drawn by hand, but he uses Adobe Photoshop somethingorother to enhance/color them. All I have is a pencil, paper, markers, and MS Paint. My pictures would not be able to compete if they were in the same category.

i agree and i thought i said that. i am not saying that they should be in handdrawn but a third catergory.
handrawn
digital
scanned/tablet
other
99% of people will say that drawing a circle is easier with a pencil than it is with a mouse. the same can be applied to more complex digital drawings. notice how spire dominated the digital catergory. His picture was well done and i am willing to bet that he had an easier time than someone who would have did that with a mouse.( i am by no means saying that using a pencil/tablet is easy, but easiER) So people like me who are still photoshop novices have 'no chance' since i use the mouse

both current catorgories has an advantage over the other, so an artwork combining the advantages of both shouldnt go into either catergory

No comments on my drawing? :(
It's very adorable...in a mechanical evil robot thing kind of way. I like it better then most of the other stuff...I mean, at least that looks like Jiggly.

Best hand-drawn so far. ;)

Kevin: If I woke up in the middle of the night and that was sitting beside me... I would FREAK OUT AND DIE!!! Anyways, it's pretty good, I like your idea.

Denzi: Pretty cool, with the eye thing and all.
