I took Swamp's message to mean his kill failed. The flavor never mentioned blocking.

Alright, the plan was for Swamp to attack Pokechu, Opo to redirect the attack to one of the Doctors thus revealing who the fake doctor was. And if we screwed up we had an ace in the hole that could be used later to justify the accidental doctors death if that occurred...

We already known opossum is town as the death of trunks( or whatever the other half one was) confirmed opossums comments on his role meaning he’s town like his counter part. Dj certainly should be suspected though but going for corcius also seems kind of useful as they already claimed mafia and it sounds to elaborate for them to be a fool imo.
