Fox can still tech the down throw so he cant be hit with the down a last time I checked right?...

Cause in all the FC6 vids Rob$ kept doing it to M2K and I dont think he teched once... just wondering.

Yes, you can tech it, but only in later versions of the game IIRC

Fox has a weird weight property that makes it so he stands immediately after being downthrown.

He can ALWAYS shine out of any combo you attempt, and can DI behind or well in front of you however, you can often chaingrab fox with downthrow for 2-3 and the upthrow when he stops the DI and goes for the shine to an n-air combo.

Other than that, it's impossible for Fox to tech Falco's dair except in PAL version, and at high percents. I believe in the first version of smash dthrow dsmash and similar stuff combos vs Fox and they modified it in either the second or the third so that Fox has frame advantage and can shield or shine before Falco can do anything.

It's possible to tech it higher percentages, say at over 110% or so.

Otherwise, it's impossible for Fox to tech Falco's dthrow at lower percentages, but he can DI away and roll, or shine you out of a possible follow-up.
