Welcome to the "Double Trouble: Tag Team Tourney." This is not an average doubles tournament nor is it a singles tournament. Rather it is more like both combined into one, a Tag Team Tournament! There will be a total of 16 teams, each consisting of two members. It will be Single Elimination, thus there will be a total of 4 rounds.
Match Structure:
At the beginning of each match each team will choose one player to play first. The winner of those two players will then play the second player of the opposing team with their remaining stock! If that player loses than the winner will then play the second player of that team, again with their remaining stock. The first team to knock out both players of the opposing team will be declared the victor and moved on to the next round.
~Matches will begin with 4 stock. The player just entering the match will also begin with 4 stock. At the beginning of the second/third battles the winner of the previous battle must suicide until they reach the amount of stock they won with. Once they have reached the required stock they must stand in their original starting position. Both players must then duck (press down on the joy stick) to signify they are ready to begin. The match will continue from there.

-Bowser's Suicide rule counts as a win
-Ganondorf's Suicide rule counts as a draw
*If there is a draw, who ever wins the "sudden death" will be declared the victor.
~Metaknights's infinite cape is banned
~Before starting a battle both players must choose a stage via stage strike. The stock of the winner from the previous battle must be reported as well.

-Player 3 suicides twice.

-Player 2 suicides once
-Match continues
-Player 4 wins. Both Player 1 and 2 were defeated, therefore Team2 advances.
Stages:
As mentioned before, stages must be chosen via Stage Strike. Only Neutral Stages will be allowed.

Example Stage Strike:
*Player 1 bans FD
*Player 3 bans Pokémon Stadium
*Player 1 bans Yoshi's Island
*Player 3 bans Battle Field
Smashville will therefore be the battle stage.
Requirements:
~You must have at least a title of "Smash Child" to enter
~Matches must be done by deadlines. If Matches are failed to be completed by the deadline the most active team will be advanced. If both teams are active there will be a coin toss.
