Double-Jumping is an unrealistic glitch and should be removed.

Man, I'm glad I caught this one. Somehow it got by programmers for 20 years but from now on, things will change! I picked up this fancy techno-game Smash Brothers or something and I swear (believe me, I'm not kidding) that you can jump once, and then jump once more IN MID AIR.

Naturally, I was confused, so I went outside and tried it myself, breaking my tailbone. Turn on your Gamebox and try it, I swear it works. Push X and then Y (order matters) and you'll jump two times. And not just two times off the ground. One is in the air!

Obviously, this can't work in real life! So I propose that it not only be removed from Brawl, but we should start an online petition to have it removed. I'll be ****ed if I ever play another game with such a BROKEN glitch.

Meh. Jumping has always been broken. Same with the reset button.. ken 4 stocking you? Hit reset, match never happened. Broken.

I'll have to look more into that one, I don't totally get it.

I MEAN THE WHOLE GAME IS A BIG **** YOU TO GREATS LIKE ISAAC NEWTON AND MICHAEL JORDAN

This guy is obviously making fun of people who don't like Wavedashing, by using a technique called rhetoric (as well as the obvious sarcasm) to insist that Wavedashing was just as intended as double-jumping, even though one was clearly intentional, and the other a mere physics-abuse.

Smash Brothers Brawl (I assume you're talking about, due to this being the Brawl forum) will obviously have a different set of physics to fix this. Even if it doesn't (which I see no reason why not), then Wavedashing will be made common, manual-provided kowledge (like double-jumping), to, at the very least, disallow SOME of the ****** that will go on online afterwards.

What I don't get is why everybody thinks that "Brawl" = "Melee 2." It makes me a sad red panda.

I was playing smash today with a friend (YEA I WUZ REELIE BORD) and i did wut u sed and I dubil jumpt!!!

wow dis iz so broken. look at da rings u make wen u dubil jump!! obviusly the algarithims that make up da programin of dis game go into a loop and make wierd serkils when you do the glitch. LOOK 4 URSELF!!


now dose cheeters can jump twise az hi as us lejit players. OMGWTFHAX!!

First off, It's not a glitch, they did that on purpose to help you get to the ledge quick/easier when you are tossed. Two, you can also press up twice! If you were to eliminate that then many people would probably stop playing the games because the game play would drmatically differ and maybe even dull the experience. Sorry but your petition should not be allowable. You're probably being annoying/Sarcastic anyway right?
