and also why people doesnt use falcon kick? it covers a lot of ground and can tech punish mighty fine
Because in most situations raptor boost is a better option for a similar scenario. It covers lots of ground, can be used to tech chase, but it also leads into combos well and doesn't have as much start up (or ending I think...) lag. I've seen a video of someone use falcon kick as a tech chase>regrab, but I think in most scenarios there are better options.

I've seen some Falcon's use Falcon kick when they are above the stage and they use it offensively to hit opponents underneath. Of course they only did it like once, I mean you would never expect anything like that. lol

As a tech chase at higher percents...maybe. =P

falcon kick does 12% damage and is really hard to punish if done at a good time

but you cant combo out of it, so that 12% pales in comparison to a forward b, stomp, knee, or grab

True.

But I'm pretty sure it can kill some characters at pretty high percent. Or is it Ganon's wizard kick I am thinking of? lol

As a combo tool, its obviously useless.

But yeah, knee and the other attacks you mentioned are indeed better options.

I like how this has become the Falcon Kick thread haha.

Falcon Kick is actually pretty nifty against Marth. Use it when they have you cornered with your back to the edge. It clanks with his ground attacks, even dtilt and fsmash. After it clanks, you're right in his face and you can grab/gentleman him.

When their shield is a little low, you can aerial Falcon Kick them but aim it so that you land right behind them. They'll aim their shield up, but the landing hitbox will nip them and pop them up nicely for you to uair/knee them. ~80% and up against Marth and floatier characters.

As for the team combo, we use the fthrow to rack up damage since the vertical DI is insignificant and we get consistent results. If we use raptor boost etc., they can D.I. left/right and the rest of the combo is improvisation instead.

We also have a triple upB combo to knee but didn't tape it... yet.
