Doesn't Marth have 2 chain grabs over Lucas?

Can't Lucas DI out of another down throws' range? Heck, a Lucas user can DI out of the grab release if he's good. =/

Did you try this on a human? CPUs are ridiculously stupid against Marth's down throw (and throws in general) for some reason.

I tried it against a Lucas user. I suppose he could have DI'd it but I got a got 8 grabs from him.

if i were you, i wouldnt even worry if you can chain grab or not. The match-up with Marth is such a joke with lucas it's not even funny.

but to the topic, yea you can chain grab all you want with lucas. They may be good and find a way out, but even then you still have a big advantage over him.

Marth has the advantage, but a Lucas will probably have way more matches against a Marth than a Marth versus a Lucas, which lets the Lucas be more familiar with the matchup.

Fact: Marth's original chain grab over lucas scared most lucas players away from competitive brawl with lucas.

False: This is an impossible battle for lucas.
Think of it like wobbling(the ice climbers infinite chain grab). It's NOT impossible to win. Don't get grabbed(marths' grab range is horrendous), play it safe, rack up damage, and if he DOES manage to grab you, it's not the game, it's one stock. Of course, ya, Marth HAS the advantage, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. My friend's lucas is more scared of wobbling than marth's chain grab xD

Marth's standing grab range is above average. You can do this out of a dash by shield grabbing, so marth's grab range is not horrendous.

It's still bad. You have to put your shield up which slows down the grab, if you hit R + A too fast you end up doing a dash grab.
