Does Sakurai approve of what "America's" Pit is saying?

One of Pit's taunts has him saying "YOUR NOT READY YET!" which is a very degrading taunt IMO. Basically telling somebody "you suck so much!" The argument that all taunts do this, but this one seems to stand out as very rude.
But Wasn't Sakurai trying to avoid this? Wasn't he trying to make a game that wasn't meant to be competitive? Wouldn't a taunt like this anger people to anger competiotion of using Pit? Doesn't having rude taunts like this break what he was aiming for in a "just for fun that everybody can play" game?
Granted, maybe the English translation is different, but it doesn't make sense to me in Sakurai's goals.

ok but why go on over a taunt i mean no one uses them in competitive play anyways
