does pj64k work with windows 7 64 bit?

I would actually like to know this myself. I'm getting a new laptop that has the specs to handle kalliera but its running windows 7. Does anyone know?

You can run project64k on Windows 7 64bit
Just make sure to get project64k from here: http://www.galaxy64.com/Howto/howto-pj64k.html
The only specs that I can think of for playing online smoothly is having decent internet

Were you running windows ME or something?? Haha I think with XP and Vista I've gotten less than 5 blue screens (but with ME I got one per day it was ridiculous).

For the people who are using Windows 7 and used to use Vista, have you noticed any stability differences with PJ64K? I'm considering upgrading myself.

You are good getting rid of Vista, but if you're still unsure you can always use dual boot and have both OS on your computer so you can judge by yourself, but Windows 7 totally 5 stocks Vista in everything.

Erm, I meant, Windows 7 is working fine on my computer too, but I had had to do the same things you'd normally do to get PJ64k running on Vista. Using the RC though.

Downloading your pre-prepared PJ64k is the same thing as doing "the same things you'd normally do to get PJ64k running on Vista."

and yeh i get my firends that are starting on ssb, when they used galaxy 64's pre prepared file it failed for them for netplay aswell until they changed the rom/directory. no biggy but it did have me stumped for a while.

Yea, I used it, and had to change the ROM directory. I just downloaded smash in a different file. It works now, so I scared to **** with it.

Does Windows 7 cause more lag than Vista for pj64k?
I NEVER lagged as consistently as I do now with 7 than I did with Vista........
