Does anyone pull their eyelashes out?

But out of curiosity, what have your eyelashes done to deserve such treatment? Seems like an awfully odd thing to have as just a natural compulsion.

I don't, btw, but I have heard of people who do. The worst habit I have is that I bite the corners where my nail and thumb meet until they bleed. I've been pretty good about not doing it so often, though. It's normally something I do when I'm stressed.

But I frequently pull a lot of my hair out and roll it into balls. I have none around right now, but I usually have a number lying on my desk. Yes, I have a lot of hair - a seemingly endless amount at that.

I knew a guy who habitually twirled his hair until he formed a bald spot on his head. Perhaps it's that slight sting and then slow reprieve that acts as a "drug" to some, including myself.

Sometimes I have a habit of excessively running my hands through my hair--not to look suave, mind you, but to pull out all the loose hairs. I have a lot of loose hairs. Thankfully I'm blond, so I don't leave behind too much of a trail.

Geeze, I have bad habits (like biting my knuckles) but thats not even really something that is painful. The only painful habit I have is to pop pimples, but its satisfying since I dont want them there, so unless you dont want your eyelashes I cant see why you would pull them out.

^^ well it's good to see that you've at least stopped for the time being. I can't imagine myself ever even pulling out an eyeslash, maybe just to get any small particle out of them, but not actually take them off.

I usually just pull on them softly to take out any lashes that are already loose.
I don't intentionally pull on them wanting to pull out lashes

Yes, I don't rip them from the root though. I just rub them and pick em a little and they fall. Daily, I pick up 3 hairs from my eyelashes from each eye. And 5-6 from each eyebrow. =/

Yeah, my hair is just particularly thick. By and large, blondies have much more hair on their heads than brunettes. Most hair cutters I've been to have commented about my thick hair. I shed like a cat!

Mine don't come out easily unless they're ready to fall out on their own. In that case I do pull them out so they don't end up IN my eye. Otherwise...no.
