My first Ever Character Analysis, Bare With Me Please
INTRODUCTION-
Way back when, November 20 1995 to be exact, the follow up to Donkey Kong Country was released. It was named Diddy Kong's Quest
This time around, Diddy Kong took role as the main character, because big brother DK was well... Kidnapped. He wasnt alone though, he helped introduce a new character, Dixie Kong, who was there as a playable character with Diddy throughout the entire game. Dixie offered some new gameplay strategies and helped to keep things fresh. With her long banana like hair, she could glide.
The game was a huge sucess, and Dixie even went on to have her own game one year later DKC 3- Dixie's Double Trouble.
The game followed the same basic formula as the first, slightly improved graphics, and introduced yet another character... Kiddy Kong - But hes not important at the moment
WHY DOES DIXIE KONG DESERVE TO BE A CHARACTER IN BRAWL?
1.)The Donkey Kong series is one of nintendos top series's. Until now, weve only had one represetnative,
DK himself. Admittedly, she doesnt deserve to get in before Diddy, but whats wrong with three rep's from a top selling classic series? Heck, pokemon has how many now?
2.) King K. Rool has been argued as a playable character, now why does he deserve to get in before Dixie Kong?
3.) This game needs more female playable characters, yes, even if it means being a monkey
4.) She was mentioned in Melee, her trophy:
5.) Again, as already stated, she was in DKC 2, and went on to have her own game, heck in the formula continued, I wouldnt be surprised if the 4th was about saving her. That would make her involved in more of the DONKEY KONG COUNTRY games than DK.

Dixie has been getting alot more playtime lately, and since she was added to the DS remake of Diddy Kong Racing, we know she hasnt been forgotten
DIXIE KONG STATISTICS-
All are out of a possible 5 stars
Size: *** [Dixie would be just a tiny bit bigger than pikachu)
Weight: ** [Lighter than Yoshii, more durable than pichu)
Power: **1/2 [Dixie would not be a powerhouse, she would be slower than Fox, yet around his power ability]
Speed: ***1/2 [Dixie would have her standard walk on two feet, than get on all four hands/feet to dash]
Jump: ****1/2 [Ok first of all, she IS a monkey,and yes, she can glide, using her hair like a copter]
While in the air, Dixie would have the ability to glide, slowly going downwards as she glides longer
DIXIE KONG MOVESET-
Uh-oh ive never done one of these, please cut me some slack
Non-Smash's:
Basic A Attack: Dixie Waves her hair forward hitting for 1-2% damage
Double A Attack: Dixie thrusts her hair forward, then back again to cause another 1% damage
Triple A Attack: Dixie thrusts hair forward, back again, and all the way around while thrusting herself at the opponent, causing an additional 1-2% damage
Dash A Attack: Like in DKC 2 while running, her hair spins like a helicopter causing 3-4% Damage
Up A Attack: Jumps up pointing her ponytail like a spear, causing 3-4% damage
Down A Attack: Dixie stretches out her feet semi like captain falco, forcing anyone downward
A Smash: Dixie holds her hair down behind her to smash anyone in front of her with incredible force
B Attack: Dixie Winds Up her hair, much like Dk's wind up punch
Side B: Dixie dashes towards the enemy tackling anyone in her way (Semi like foxes invisi-dash, just not as fast)
Down B: A Parry attack, Dixie shields herself with her hair in an almost cacoon like fasion
Up B: Dixie uses her hair to thrust herself into the air, She can also glide
Brawl Attack:
Option One
1.) In a medusa like fasion, Dixie's hair goes grabs anyone around her and thrashes them onto the ground
Option Two
2.) Dixie summons a cranky Kiddy Kong, who comes to her aid, not wanting to let anyone touch her, the effect would be like that of scizors in Melee

Dixie Plays her Guitar :]
Grab Attack:
Up Grab:
Dixie Puts the opponent on her shoulders like she would kiddie kong, and kicks them into the air
Side Grab:
Dixie Grabs the opponent with her hair, almost curling them up, then tossing them to the side
Down Grab:
Grabs opponent with hair, slamming them onto the ground
"SHEZ LEIK P3Rf3CT TO BE AN ASS1ST TROPHY!"
I have already said this, Dixie has been in so many games, and even had her own, she obviously can have a moveset, and is quite popular. Especially lately, she has been in quite a few newer games. We know nintendo hasnt forgotten about her because of these recent moves to implement her in the DKR DS game.

RESPONSE: Do you really think we cant spare one spot for her, I know the decisions been made but COME ON if we have room for so many pokemon we need to have dixie

RESPONSE: To this I can only say Diddy does deserve to get in before dixie, but that doesnt make her any less important, shes had her fair share of games rivaling Diddy
3.) SHE HAS TO MANY MOVES WITH HER HAIR:
RESPONSE: Dixies only form of offense in the games were her hair and the animals in boxes that would assist her, so yes her hair is her central point, and Diddy is the one who deserves the animals for attacks EX: His side B could be a rhino Charge
4.) HEY DID YOU CATCH FRIENDS LAST NIGHT? THAT WAS HILARIOUS
RESPONSE: No, I dont like that show, wth does that have to do with Dixie

RESPONSE: I am new to the forums, and have not seen one myself yet, I know Im not the first one to do a Dixie Thread, but the idea was not stolen from someone else

I completely agree with her inclusion in Brawl, I hope it does happen she gets to be playable, also you could add her canon-shot from Mario Hoops as her Final Smash :D
no way! and honestly she has more than her hair, well more things to work on a moveset than others (Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers) besides like I said before her canon shot from Mario Hoops can work, she can also use orange grenades and items she used in her games, as well as summon Kiddy Kong...heck Pit gets to summon Palutena, why can't Dixie summon Kiddy they worked together after all, and this game doesn't have to be realistic so don't go asking "where would Kiddy come out from?"...where does Peach pull out Toad from?
