No. I liked the idea of swiss a lot but unless there's a lot of rounds of swiss a lot of people will lose on tiebreakers unfairly so I will do either straight bracket or pools into bracket

Hopefully you won't eliminate the idea completely. If Swiss were to be used for singles only, it should go by a lot faster and get a clear top 8/16 since you're only running melee. You won't even need to run an amateur bracket, but I feel like swiss in smash is heavily dependent on the number of set ups but whateves I'm pretty hype tho!

Talking about set ups, I might be able to bring two if someone has an extra copy of melee to stick in my other cubey.
I'm definitely bringing the Nus CRT set up.

Ultimately the decisions comes down to the noble penguin of many wins, indigenous to the northern plains of Texas, for i have a binding agreement with this majestic bird. Regardless, prepare your bodies for all out bloodshed.

2 people are selected to be captains, they pick whos on their crew. Each captain sends out a starting player and they play their match. Lets say player 2 won with 2 stocks left and 55% taken, player 1 would go out and whoever is the captain that had player 1 would send in another person from their crew and that player 2 would start the next match with 2 stocks only (% would be 0). Repeat until last team standing wins.

Yeah, I've lost my fair share of money doing them over the years too... but it has provided motivation for me improve. I will say first off that people here shouldn't money match me unless they really want to, or they're really confident. I'm fine playing friendlies with lots of people as well

Yeah, there's no way in hell I'll MM you. I'm not even that skilled yet. But yeah, of course I can play friendlies with you. (I'd hate to meet you in actual bracket though )
