It is simply anti-town to put it off closer to the deadline. We should be making use of this time and use the remaining portion to talk in length. Not wait until later.

Also think about this. Can you find a single advantage in waiting until later? I can't. But I can find disadvantages. A large portion of town also wants him to post with haste. He is being adversarial and stubborn.

I forgot to mention that if he continually refuses to cooperate then he is BLATANTLY scum and there is no way in hell he will be living past, say, Day 3. Or at this rate, Day 2 :x

I don't know how well you guys know Asdioh, but this whole post feels exceptionally out of place for him. In all the time I have spoken to him, I have never once seen him snap like that about something, and there have certainly been occurrences that would have justified it much more than being called scum.

Well, it's the first time I've been a vanilla townie. In the past I've played safer because I've always had a power role of some sort. This time I'm going to hide nothing, and put all of my thoughts out there. In Dissidia, for example, I had some suspicions etc. but I didn't have enough evidence to back it up, so I waited until I got my Cop investigation. Unfortunately, I died Night 1 so I didn't get to say anything about it. I'm not going to let that happen again.

Safeclaim. He could have a safeclaim. This in NO way clears him as town.

Oh wow forgot to mention that Asdioh calling J scum is accurate to the point of incredible suspicion. Either he's clairvoyant or he's scum with 'im.

It certainly does look suspicious on me. I'm sure you won't believe me, but at first it was based on RVS and J's ****ty pregame attitude. Also the fact that in past games... well, in upick1 he was useful to me when I was scum, because he thought I was town and helped in the prevention of my scumbuddies. In upick2, Morrigan shared that same view, saying at the beginning of the game "vote J because he'll lead us astray even if he is town" or something along those lines. I was willing to tunnel him because I didn't want that to happen, and I also didn't like his early play.
After a while, I backed off of him because, like I said at one point, his lynch looked "too good to be true" but it turns out that I gave him too much credit and he really was scum. At that point, I was more willing to believe Joey was scum than J, because Joey was giving that friendly ""townie"" impression. Due to J's scum flip, I'm faaaairly confident Joey is town, for now.

Actually, I do. In my first game I looked at others for reference, or at least skimmed, and I looked at the role PMs in some game that was finished and saw what safeclaims looked like.

I spent approx 5-6hrs total yesterday re-read and creating notes and stuff. Whether you believe me or not, I'm really interested in playing this game and am not just gonna throw it away.

Don't you think letting your enemies know a trap EXISTS kind of nullifies some of its effects? It seems like Zac has good reason for waiting as long as possible to mention the "trap" aspect.

I agree UTD should post his notes, but I don't see him as being the choice lynch for today because he can't produce them right away.

I've already said I don't like what he's doing, but I've never played with him before. As far as I know, he's a pretty smart person. If the "info" he shares isn't supremely helpful, and given at a time that makes sense, then he knows he's going to get lynched. How can you not see that?

Let me ask you this. Do you think scum would attract SO MUCH attention to themselves? Everyone is on Zac's back right now. He must have a lot of pressure to post something good or else he dies. If one of his scumbuddies was already lynched Day 1, do you think he would risk it so hard? I really have a hard time believing that.

Did you also realize that, despite the mod not setting a deadline, he pretty much set it when the game had gone 5 days and set the deadline for another 5 days. Basically giving us the allotted time we would have anyway.

There is nothing wrong with getting this info now because, if anything, when he springs the deadline on, we won't have as much time as you think.

Day 2 has gone on for less than 48 days. If Zac hasn't posted anything within another day or two, we're going to have a problem.

For town, this looks amazing at this time; X1 found scum with his gambit. Whoo! However, this is way too coincidental and weird. Out of all the people to choose to try and hit with his gambit, he went for J. Lucky? I think not. After the flip J turns up Mafia Goon. Convenient for scum? Totally worth the trade for scum to lose a goon that doesn't want to play anymore to ensure X1 looks like town.

This is after Soup claimed Night Cop and X1 claim Day Cop but before X1 revealed to us he was lying. From the point of view of town, there is no reason to ask this question. Town knows that two cops have claimed, why the flip would a mason pair exist in the same game?

Here's the kicker. I'm Tiny Kong and I'm masoned with Diddy Kong. We have safe claims so that we don't get outed as masons (for example, Asdioh could be my mason partner even though he claimed TipTup. And no I'm not telling you my safeclaim, and if you ask you're scum.) If Dixie Kong existed in this game wouldn't it make so much more sense to have that character masoned with Diddy Kong... not my character? X1 is scum and his safe claim is Dixie Kong. @Town, thanks for wasting the early part of this day hastily by harassing me about my play style, calling me scum for not playing like you want, and causing a mason claim which would have been extremely helpful later. =( There was NO REASON to force me to out my information when I was wanted to use it later in the Day. And you know I'm not ******** to wait til near the deadline and cause panic.

Also, I'm not the most experienced player and enjoy playing mafia games to get better. I really didn't appreciate the "you're playing town wrong" comments at all even if I was in your eyes.

Coming from one inexperienced player to another, I understand how you feel. That's part of improving, though. Getting past the insults and aggravation. Trust me I'm still doing it too and I have to get advice about general mafia daily lol.
