Diddy Kong Final Smash... Disapointed.

Well, Yoshi's FS and Diddy's FS are pretty much the same...

As long as I see his guitar, it's okay.

People will just complain about anything related to Diddy.

You say Diddy's Final Smash is just two specials stuck together? For goodness sake, Mario's and Samus' Final Smash is just their neutal B only bigger.

You say Diddy's guitar will make him unique? It won't. Because DK already has a musical Final Smash. >_>

Ugh. People here claim we're better, smart, and more mature than GameFAQs. Doesn't seem to look like it though. >_>

How true, how true. I kinda like this final smash, even though there isn't anything AMAZINGLY NEW about it.

Also, whatsup with all this 'I WILL NOT HAF ITEMS ON N-E-WAY'. By the looks of it, 1-player, events and etc will have you use it. So you DO care.

I hate the healing peanut item as one of his special move and now even more so as his FS... Also, I really don't care much for the character diddy kong in general, not that he doesn't deserve to be in SSBB. I like the looks of his FS. It looks like his already lame specials moves on speed/crack x10. I hope they don't do this type of thing with any other characters.

You forgot the part at the end where Diddy's barrel jets explode and he falls out of the sky, bounces off of a crate, slips on a banana peel and goes flying off of the edge before a bob-omb falls out of the sky and blows him into the stratosphere.

Eh, I kind of like the Rocketbarrel Barrage... I recall using that ability several times in DK64 happily.

Come to think of it, I'm glad. After DK pulled out his bongos, I suddenly disliked the idea of both Kongs having music-based Final Smashes.

Although who knows, one of Diddy's other specials may still be his guitar... or better yet, one of his victory dances could be him rocking out on the guitar.

All I've seen so far is the meaningless exchange between Diddy's guitar and the Peanut Barrage...What about his other moves? He could do a super-charged cartwheel throughout the stage or something...Or he could call up Dixie and they team-attack like crazy monkeys (lol?)...I want originality!

If he doesn't already have it, Diddy's Forward Smash could have him bash his foes on the head with the guitar, IDK...

The boombox would a bad-azz victory pose though...
And he could rock out on the Konguitar (I named the guitar, go figure >_>)

We need original ideas! Maybe Sakurai will change his mind?

He can't change his mind at this point of the game design process. All of the moves, characters, options, stages, etc. have already been decided and the game is finishing the testing process to remove any bugs and errors that are in the game.

The game is finalized and has been so for the past month or two.

perhaps Diddy playing his guitar or pulling it out would be best suited for Diddy since it didn't make it as his Final Smash, but being a Diddy fan I really like the way it turned out his peanut shooters + flying will PWN

I was expecting something more creative. Not just 2 moves put together. The guitar would have been better. Sure its cool but maybe you can do something like that even without the smash ball. Like you use the jetpack, take it off while in the air and shoot.

i agree with u, i also tought he was going to use his guitar for FS, but i wasnt dissapointed at all, and ur right, it would be better for the victory dance or taunt

the FS guitar wouldve been a lot like DK FS, so this one is just fine, is actually one of the FS i like the most, but my favorite one is still kirbys XD

Rambi: *dashes onto stage and proceeds to pursue ANYONE (cept Diddy) who comes near him, like a souped up red shell*

Eh I was kinda disappointed about it but I'm not one to complain knowing that there's no reason to since I'll love the game anyway. I just posted that FS idea to get rid of the idea that Rocket Barrel Barrage and Diddy's Guitar are his only 2 possibilities...someone said Squawks...I like that idea too : D

I kinda forgot about the animal buddies...I hope they're at least ATs or something, DKC needs more representation, not DK64.

I'm surprised DK didnt have his rolling attack from DKC as his dash attack. Maybe Diddy will have his? I wish, but I doubt.

Also, did anyone ever think that his Final Smash/Special Moves might not be over-the-top because his regular fighting style may make up for it?

And I'm willing to bet the health peanuts wont show if the Food item is turned off. Even if they do, it wont be more than 2-4%, so its not even worth grabbing at times.
