Do you guys even eat turkey on your Thanksgiving? Or do you just ride around on giant ones? I thought fried Beaver was the national meal for all major holidays in your country.Oh right, you Amerikids do Thanksgiving wrong today.
I'll probably eat some poltry and fixin's in your honor regardless.
Yes, we eat turkey, silly. But usually anything else that's in stock at the market, since Thanksgiving and Christmas are only 2(!) months apart. So we'll often set up ham, moose, goose, or duck. are you seriousI'll have you know, beaver's tail is great in a lot of dishes, and very tasty with Salisbury sauce over some spiced green beans. They grow their tails back within 17 months, which is why it's not unusual for households to have one or two beavers as pets, even in Ontario where we typically don't worship the Old Gods.
Incidentally, pet beavers are why metal-legged tables enjoy such a heavy popularity in Canada.
