I just watched that Nevermore in Darkness video last night haha good stuff.

Also I don't think it's as much not being able to compare to asian dota as Europe's scene being vastly different and them never playing.

well the thing is at the last major international tourney (SMM), MYM, who was considered one of the top euro teams at that period of time, didn't even make it out of groupstage

like for this year' ESWC there are about 7-8 chinese teams skilled enough to deserve a spot, but over half of them won't be able to go due to space limitations and the organizers' need to have "representation" fitting of a world cup

like teams from greece/poland/iran and whatever are getting spots over these insanely skilled chinese/malaysian/etc teams which is just kinda dumb from a competitive point of view (but completely understandable if you're thinking about it from a point of view where each portion of the world needs to be represented equally)

and from what i hear games in high level chinese rooms are like scrims

NA scrubs have got to be the worst trash of the trash

SMM Grand National DOTA Tournament 2009 only had like 2 or 3 teams from the NA

its one of those heroes whose conceptually broken

much like spec/qop were and once they got nerfed, they got nerfed into oblivion

although spec is being picked in conjunction again with heroes like storm/cw/furion etc for a mini-global strat
