Does cypher have complete "juggernaut-ness", like, do all smashes not knock him off the cypher?

It's called Armor Frames. Snake is temporary invulnerable when he's using the cypher. He still takes damage, but he won't get knock backed. Also, this really was a simple question, no need for a seperate thread really. Mind putting your question in the Solid Snake discussion thread next time?

Quick note: The cypher only gives SAF for the few moments starting out with the cypher. After a second you're vulnerable to knockback, and I know this after taking a Meteor from Diddy and a Charged Shot from Samus in Classic Mode.

Snake has the Armor frames (or called Super Armor frames here) for most of his cypher ride, but mostly at the beginning, when he activates the move.

I wonder if the duration of super armor depends on the damage inflicted/damage currently on Snake?

I've been knocked clear out of my cypher with Ike's/Pit's/ROB's aerials quite easily. Definitely not a full super armor duration.

Depends on the attack and when you got hit. If it's a weak attack, then you aren't going to flinch. However, you mentioned Ike and ROB. Yeah... those two don't really have attacks that don't ****. Also, if you're attacked a little bit after you activate the cypher, then you'll flinch because the Super Armor frames will have gone by then.
