I gave priority to this forum before adding other people from different forums when it was during different times of the day. Don't stop with the replies, I know everyone won't show up.

Those without aim or msn, you must have access to a computer to relay messages to me or anyone else helping me. If you can't send or receive messages from either me or a helper, you will be easily replace. Everyone must follow the procedures listed, you must contact those running this small event. Everyone, do make sure you read all the rules @ www.cubedconcept.com

Depending how this turns out, expect another one in 2 weeks and a better prize. It will remain free to join, but we ask you to follow our rules, as unnecessary as they seem even. Thanks a bunch guys.

All slots are now filled, but if the waiting list becomes large enough, we can increase the size of the tournament. Start training, start getting used to the lag, and those who posted their states or region, thanks :-* The reason I asked for everything in a post was to make it easier on myself for when I updated the thread, so that I wouldn't have to go from one spot copy/pasting to another, instead of just copying the whole post.

yea, edit: I didn't think I'd get private messages and so many replies on the way home from work alone. That was pretty cool.

I don't know what an elitist is. I'm trying to make this as lag free as possible as well. A lot of people don't have locations listed. I don't want your home address, but the state or country you live in would be helpful. I'll be trying to match people up to their regions as best as possible to reduce lag as much as I can (no promises lol!) But yea :)

NOTE, those that are waiting for a reply, if no update by 12am EST time, you'll be removed and placed on the waiting list

You don't need either, but you'd better make sure you have something to communicate with. If you have a friend with an aim account, just ask them to use it. Again, if its about software, just go onto aim express, or use meebo which is multi platform and allows the use of more than aim or msn without installing software, **** I should be paid for advertising them.

I can add you to the waiting list, just be online around that on Saturday, I'll be going through the waiting list to replace people who don't show up. Again, I'm sure some people won't show up, so keep them coming, and if this breaks a lot of people on the waiting list, then I'll just create a second set of brackets and increase the size of this thing.

Uhh.. Im european, but I dont really experience extensive lag unless other members of the household are online also, and I'm home alone this weekend, so would that be okay..? I understand if not.

My dear, I'm not asking for zipcodes of where you live! Just telling me which region you're from is good enough, I'm just going to try my best to match up people within similar regions in hopes to reduce lag. If you're from a different country, I don't need to know the specifics, just the country will be good.

I intend to have a chatroom open for the remainder of the tournament. I'll have the name of the chatroom posted and everyone can join it at 12pm. Those without aim, good luck with the private messages on this site. It takes about 2 minutes or less to go to aim.com and make an account though.

I made it hassle free and just put UK :mad: I tend to be thrown off by the locations under the avatars as well you know. Noticed how almost everyone has a region on that first post? You'd be surprised how many Americans you'll be facing! I do hope you don't lag though for your sake at least!

The first post people, it gets updated as people keep asking to be in the tourney. You won't get an invitation saying you're in. The first 32 people you see are the 32 that are in it. The waiting list is in order as well. People that don't show up will be replaced by the waiting list people. This is how you'll know if you play or not.

Tonight I'll post with the name of the chatroom everyone will be joining. At 12pm eastern (9AM pacific, 5pm global :-x???) it will be open to anyone to chat, and get in matches with each other if you desire to. People who choose not to use aim, get ready to private message your opponents. I'll be creating brackets and telling people they're matches, but I'll probably make a call to see who decided to show up at 2 pm. Anyone who didn't, the slots will be slowly filled by people on the waiting list.

Everyone will have to report their matches I'll need to create a losers bracket to fill after matches take place. I don't have the required help to do this like I had hoped, so everyone must be in agreement with everyone when you speak to each other, about the random, about the stages, about the rules, the counterpicking so that both players make sure the counterpicked stage is selected in case the loser of the round decides to counterpick, and anything else I've probably missed!

I hope everyone read the full list of rules on the website, everything is not covered on the first post. I'm not even going to be close to strict with the rules though, mostly because I can't enforce many of them without help. The only thing I can do is go on a banhammer, and like I mentioned in the rules, that won't happen usually. One more day people!

People, enter chat room "Initiate Brawl"

One person just dropped, 01 from the waiting list will be placed on the brackets

Start talking to each other, at 1:45 I'll start doing a call on the players and scratching off who's here. At 2:01, people who still haven't responded, they'll be taken off and I'll be replacing those who did not respond with people on the waiting list.

Brackets are already made, I did my best to randomly place everything and match it with regions, but everything isn't one region so you'll eventually play someone who isn't in your region. I hope mario kart's traffic doesn't get in the way right now as well :mad:

ROOM is definitely open right now, I'll be on brawl at the moment, and on the computer. SEE YOU THERE!
