The biggest problem I noticed was that you tended to stay on the ground when things got up close. Falco's bair, nair and dair are amazing spacing moves that'll keep your opponent at arms length. If your enemy gets through your spacing, it can be difficult for Falco to keep up, but if you use your aerials to space, you should do well.

Good choice of brawl character scotu!

Ok, you seem fine enough. (only watched the first video) Here are my thoughts on falco. btw I'm still not that good =(.

1) SHL and FJFFL
-This is to vary when you land so as to not be predictable when you spam. Also SHL has much better spacing control. SHDL is useful only if you think they will jump, if they are on a platform, or they are descending.
-Against most characters I take SHL as an excuse to approach, not an excuse to SHL again. (Though I do spam the **** out of people in tournaments)

2) Jab
-Is quite good. Don't do Jab Combo->Shine. It's ******** punishable.( Do Jab->Grab (vs shield), Jab->Walk back Fsmash (vs roll in), Jab->DashA (roll away), Jab Combo (spot dodge))

3) Bair
-Seriously Falco's Bair is **** good. FJ Bair into either FF Bair/Dair or FF laser.

4) Shine
-This move blows mega chunks. You used it correctly from behind a wall, but the shine is more of a trick, than a good move. To do it safely you have to SH->Shine move away. (Which is really a bait to get them to approach.)

Chain grab trick:
Instead of going into DashA + Upsmash (which is DIable out of) you could chain grab them into a corner then Dair, walk away Fsmash. This will cover (if they don't tech) get-up attack, Roll away, Roll in, and if timed right stand-up.

I hope that helps and stuff.

thanks for the input, esp. Rat.

Yeah, i'm finding out too that the shine blows it just took more than 3 days of playing to find that one out.

I'll have to try out some of those options on jabs and cgs. also, wtf bair clashes w/ MK glide attack?!?

Scotu I only watched your match vs Marth, but you completely forgot about the Gatling Combo and the Boost Smash. I think you played a great defense game by firing a lot of short hop lasers but you didn't do anything with them. As soon as one hits, Gatling Combo or Boost Smash. Also, never jab combo Marth or Meta because if they are any good they will Up B you. As soon as they get a little space.

Scotu all you have to do is press in the direction of the control stick you want to go, then immediately press up on the C Stick.

wtf are you talking about lol
boost smash goes like this:

cstick down + zup (doesn't work as well if your z trigger is slightly broken...like mine)
cstick down + a up (claw style, i prefer this one b/c it gets you a nice length of usmash plus it works for all characters easily this way)
