Critique my snake - winners finals.

Only looking for higher level analysis. I would like some more information on nade play/nade traps that I can use in this matchup.

Any other tips would be great - this guys yoshi is a beast and he actually beat me in the grand finals in a tournament a couple of weeks back. Luckily I managed to beat him in this little local get together - regardless I still would love some help.

Any tips are greatly appreciated - thanks.

Instead of completing jab combos, would jab->ftilt be better since it does more damage? =/

Eek, sorry. I classes our set as "Grand finals" and the set against Jake as "Winners finals".

I practiced my MK for like 3 hours yesterday btw

Also - yes, as obviously you all now know, it IS the "flippin amazing" firefly from alberta!


I jab/f-tilt quite a bit - i've that I can keep yoshi in hitstun and use the complete jab to unstale moves AND rack up damage. I actually used the jab completion a lot less the first time I met this yoshi.

Work on your C4 usage. You could definitely use a lot more. Also, use some aerials eventually. They are helpful. Yoshi's Eggs are easy to powershield(just learn the timing). So you should be able to hold a grenade and powershield and then force him to approach with it. Also, if yoshi is being funny on the edge. Just walk some distance away and toss some grenades.
