I know that I still have some learning to do, but I think I'm doing pretty well with Marth(my main). I know that these are all against my brother, Twitch, but we do our best to keep eachother on our toes every match(particularly when it's Marth vs Meta), so just work with what you can ok?

I'm not very good with my grabs no. I realize that they are important though, and I'll try to use them more often.

I only looked at the very last vid.

I'm just going to give some general advice. You allow yourself to commit to the Dancing Blade even when it doesn't connect. If your opponent blocks or moves out of the way then you need to stop the attack. Don't just keep going since you will leave yourself vulnerable.

Stop trying to challenge MK's glide attack. You won't beat it. At best you will clash with it. Either counter it, run under him and u-smash, shield it, or roll away.

Also once your opponent hits high percents you need to be actively going for the kill. On the first stock MK didn't die until he was around 170 something. That's far too high. He should be dying much sooner.

At the same time, you died at 128% on one of your stocks. This is much too low agianst MK. You could have survied that with DI. Whenever you think you are in danger or you are aboutt o do something risky you need to be thinking," Ok, I'm about to do something really stupid so just in case it backfires I'm going to DI in such and such direction so I won't die if I get punished." My guess is that when you got killed you were going to do a fair out of your shield, and then MK d-smashed you.

You also need to work on your spacing. For the most part you just kind of threw yourself at MK with no regard to your positioning at all. Against a better player you would have been crushed. You need to play more patiently vs MK.

Grab more plz.

Use Marth's other smashes as well. You used his U-smash only a few times and I saw no d-smash at all. All Marth's smashes are good, so use them.

That's pretty much it. Work on that and see what it does for your game.

lol, I know first hand exactly how well you play your Marth. On your earlier videos you played your Marth well, but because of how much you improved over time, you now have incredible skill with your Marth.
^_^Good Job!

You improved some. Very good job. I'd give you tips but I havent fought any good MKs so I honestly don't know what to tell you. You did a great job at cancelling out his techniques. Bravo.

Rave: preciate that man, too good.
Junk: I know from your threads that you have plenty of help you can give as well as EL, so thank you very much.
Oh and btw, I went to a tournament at Raleigh last weekend, and beat everyone there, including LoZR's Wario, NC-Echo's Olimar, and Karn's(lord Karn) ROB in the final match. Thank you so much Marth boards, and I hope I can keep on improving with your help.
