I'd appreciate any technical, or matchup advice. Anything I'm not doing or am doing too much as well. I also don't know all the bread and butter combos if you can point out anywhere something else would've worked please do. I play some falco as well so if you have any advice for him that'd also be great.

Uploaded in 15 minute increments - I'm player one, so occasionally I'm falco.

Also I have a lot of trouble with Marth. If you have any advice for that matchup please let me know.

you should be shining after most of your aerials.

dont do that wave dash down shine repeatedly after aerials, that doesn't work and is just gonna get you ***** everytime

grabs vs falco are awesome up throw up-smash is a legit combo and sets up for another up-smash or other things depending on di.

when you edge guard and he illusions you can wait with your back turned and u-tilt, wasn't sure what you were trying to do via edge guarding. if he firefoxes below the stage its a free shine spike so go for it, if you dnt have enough time another good edge guard that covers most options is to grab the ledge, drop down and jump up instantly then b-air while you landing on the stage.....

honestly tho just watch some videos you'll get better

I was falco in the first couple matches, I'm player 1 lol.

Rohins is a samus main, he was using other characters to give me matchup practice. Please just ignore the falco matches there should be more fox vids in 2 and 3.

2nd video:

At 0:32 you missed a shine after the Dair. YOU NEED TO GRAB HIM. Uthrow>Uair destroys Marth.
The Marth isn't even spacing you should have gotten easy shieldgrabs.
At 2:06 you get a nice shine>Grab>Uair combo; those comboes are very crucial in this MU.
At 5:47 you could of got a Shine OoS but you jumped instead and got grabbed.

Your fox is good it's just minor stuff ya mess up on.

At 2:06 I only managed to get the grab because the stage didn't let him slide very far away from me :(

I guess that's just technical stuff that I need to practice.

i wont give advice vs marth cuz im in lesbians with him but.....some say im good vs shiek.

grab the ledge as much as you can. make shiek upB on the stage as much as you can. Get ur WD's on point and ur movement crisp and you'll be surprised how often you can make shiek upB on the stage. I'd approach with drill a bit more and in this stage of your game i wouldnt lazer. Lazers isnt going to help your execution or your decision making under pressure. I'd not lazer at all and work on up close stuff. regardless if jman camps out vwins for like 8min its the decisions up close that makes him a good fox. Like i'd shoot absolutely NO lazers and concentrate solely on movement and finding more openings. I wouldnt listen to any talk about any technical nuances either. you should work on mastering the basics. you need to be able to execute fundamentals in the matchup before giving yourself anymore to do in regards to technical abilities.

waveshine >grab/upsmash..........you NEED to hit that everytime. dun care about what you choose at this point but like you NEED to get that down. you hit that everytime on a shiek(off a pivot, backwards, forwards, out of CC) and trust me, they will think twice about approaching.

oh yeah, have more faith in firefox....its a good move despite what ppl may say. it can rly come through for you on recoveries that you may not think will go well.
