Could someone test Heavy Brawl at a tournament?

I'm directing this post at the noob who only used Sonic in heavy brawl.

I too main Sonic, even his recovery in heavy brawl isn't THAT bad, did you know that you have a side special move? Guess what, not only does it exist, but it ALSO sends you forward with a little hop. With this magical new super pro technique, you can cover plenty of horizontal distance, enough where you can get back on stage. IT'S ****ING MAGICAL.

Also, I'm guessing that certain utilts would **** people into oblivion (Luigi's, MK's, Snake's utilts)..
Yea...you must have special needs if you get hit by more than three uptilts from those characters.. Compared to current tilts from mario, sheik, and pika, and with DDD/Pika/IC chaingrabs, this pales in comparison.

Also, in heavy brawl use sonic's neutral b for recovery. It's a beautiful thing. Not to mention he's a combo fiend in heavy brawl (upthrow ftw).

Does anybody know if heavy makes Snake recovery worse? If so, I'm all for it.

Although this may nerf some characters, it will also save some characters all together. No more infinites on Ness and Lucas. CFalc may actually stand a chance. We gotta do more tests before we can make actual conclusions. Anybody who picks a side before they hear the issue is a ****ing idiot.

Why not just do it yourself if you're so adamant about testing a quasi-hacked version everyone else has already decided isn't worth the time?

I've played heavy brawl in friendlies with some people I know. After about five rounds, the general consensus was "Why are we playing this when we could play Melee and have fun." There is no advantage to playing Heavy Brawl. Brawl is a different game than Melee and playing it under different physics conditions doesn't make it "better." If you want heavier characters, play Melee. It's actually fun.

I am in huge support of testing heavy out in tournaments.

I am working with a few people to try to set up a tourney around me. Hopefully we will be able to get a location soon that we will be able to use on a regular basis. Heavy brawl will probably just be a side tournament. Wish me luck.
