Could Brawl Get ANY Worse?

Brawl hasn't failed, and won't fail. It looks like it's a very solid game that made some improvements over Melee. Not as much as some of us hoped, but some solid improvements.
And people are just whining about the characters not being unique or their characters being left out. I'm actually 99% okay with the roster (ROB and all).

I bet they dont even have licenses for all of those landmasters. This game has failed at all. I think the main problem is Sakurai directed it more towards "casual" gaming. So its by far going to be the most fun smash game. It will have less advanced techniques to be less challenging and the characters are pretty diverse (even if it is fewer then expected).

Brawl cannot possibly fail more, there's no competitive nature to it what so ever. Have you people actually looked at the game play videos? They're horrible at best. **** Brawl Yes it looks all pretty with new graphics, new super adventure mode, none of which means a flaming ****. Melee will always be better than brawl in every way shape and form.
The little Desire i had to play the game before has multiplied having watched gameplay videos. I was excited at first YEAHHH!!! more **** to play with nope.. They made it slow and for noobs GG Sakurai.

I don't know how to describe people who are still bashing the game. It's going to be the best game in many, many years. It's cast of characters, be they third parties, fan favorites, retros, whatever, is terrific. The only ones they missed were Ridley, Krystal, and maybe K. Rool and some others. But I mean, it has a revolutionary story mode, fun classic and adventure modes, stage building, great music, local AND online four-player multiplayer of the most innovative fighting game engine ever created by humans, with representation of some of the greatest gaming franchises ever, and you think it's failing?

Go play Halo or some other brilliantly unoriginal piece of software, come back and tell me again which game fails so we can do this all over again.

You don't seem to understand that most of the Brawl community is not pro or tourney worthy. And clearly, most of the people that are are playing the game right now and not wasting time filming it.

i've been playing competitive games for as long as i can remeber, Brawl is a slow piece of garbage. Furthermore calling me a troll is ridiculous especially considering WHO I AM
Yeah it's a new game, which everyone has high expectations for but after seeing the gameplay and how horrible the game is. I've lost all hope for it.

actually i imported the *** version and the game is over all faster then melee especially the large characters

Hmm, no single-player mode, no unlockable characters, absence of any newcomers, everyone becoming a Mario clone, extremely imbalancing items that auto-win you the game, everyone being polygonal, Wifi is laggy and shuts down your Wii, game prone to crashing, nothing to do, laggy even without Wifi, no Assist Trophies, can only choose random character, screen goes dark for extended periods of time, obnoxiously loud sound, terrible music, no other modes than Training and Standard Brawl, screen sometimes shakes violently and becomes off-center for the rest of the match, glitch where everyone is KO'd and match auto-ends where it goes to the win screen and the game crashes, only one taunt and win pose, no easter eggs, completely made-up stages from no game whatsoever, absence of all hidden characters from Melee, released before beta-testing, no settings in training mode, and almost no unlockables?

Brawl is pretty much the **** out of my *** after eating 10 boxes of pizza.
I don't think they could've messed it up more. Sakurai's chinky *** had to go **** up a perfect game. Slow it down, make it like we're playing Luigi on the moon with a stick up his ***. GJ. Brawl failz.

I've kind of cooled down at the characters; maybe you might if you look at Melee and then at Brawl, it helped me a little bit.

Anyways to answer your question, i think that from the developers point of view and from the business point of view... the game will be a complete success in comparison with melee. Thats what really matters for them in the end right?.
so "failing more" is not the proper question, when the game is getting those high sales.
