Competent Players

Hi all. I'm aware that one of the best ways to get better at SSMB is by playing other players frequently. Unfortunately for me most of my friends aren't into Smash and I'm having a hard time finding other "competent players" So I'm calling all Smashers in South Florida if you know a place(LAN center, etc.) that I can go to get some good gaming please post. Also anyone whose down to play Smash that lives in my area(954)(Ft. Luadi, Plantation, Weston, Corals Springs Tamarac etc.) hit me up.

the title of best smashers would definitely go to 13 yr olds.

Weston has some awesome smashers. They play at Xif's place from what I know. Lambchops, Noucles, GreenMario and Xif. I believe they're all around 19 years of age.

Really?? I would like to link up w/ them and play. Weston is really close to where I am compared to some of the Lan Centers. I also saw a vid w/ Xif so I know they are pretty good. Good competition would be nice.

I mean come on look at Colbol, he's 13 and he wins a lot of money in the CFL tournaments. His Fox is nasty.

I meant something more along the lines of, it would be nice to link up w/ other smashers that have things in common w/ me other than smash. In fact I'll edit that comment out. Sorry again.

in my book skill is what matters the most when u compare it to age, if u wanna get better u gotta play people that r better than u it doesnt matter if ur older than them.

Yeah thats how I feel kinda. I haven't been to a tournament yet but I really want 2 go 2 one soon. I've seen vids of Shiz, Xif, KSN and they are awesome, so I want to get my game to that lvl of play.
