I like how everyone is like "Will plan to have it at Mathos' place!"

Unfortunately this semester with school and tax season there isn't time for me to host anything. I'm either working or in school and not much downtime in the evenings on a regular basis. I doubt I can even go to many tournaments much less have time to practice until the end of May.

So unless someone mans up I doubt Central Ohio is going to have any type of regular smash activity.

blah, i guess everyone is saying that... I said it..and checked and it didnt work out so that was that anyway moving right along central ohio is weak as far as unity goes and people playing together. Might as well live in different states, its funny we have like 20 different people on here and no one knows what to do...well not exactly funny...its suxors pretty hard.

I can't belive Columbus has no tourney's in it. We are the largest city in Ohio and the fiftenth largest in the U.S. We need tourneys soon because I'm sick of playing CPUs everyday and only getting to play with my friends once a week. I doubt this'll happen, like it really won't, but maybe we could have it at the Greater Columbus Convention Center? We just need something...

Twice a year CoK holds a tournament. We should have one by the end of spring or beginning of summer.

People shouldn't rely on a huge group thing to practice, thats too unreliable. I understand that people want to do something, but perhaps you guys should think about hosting some things.

I'm considering hosting something in (or around) Columbus sometime... I'm not too sure on it, but I'm checking some places out... If I come up with something, I'll be sure to throw it out here.

hey guys, if the columbus area is still looking for bi-weeklies or even weeklies, i'm in talks with momo's management, and they seem on board for us commandeering a part of their place for smash. i'm sure if we find a day of the week that suits us well, we can make this happen! mondays are good for me personally, and i have 2 setups to bring. if anyone reads this, gimme some feedback.

yeah. 5-10. I get off school at 1:30, usually get a nap in, then go to work. sometimes we have short weeks, and sometimes i can leave early, but i can't count on that. i am pretty much for sure down on thursdays. weds are a little more tricky...

all right, i talked to the head manager at momo's, and if columbus weeklies is gonna happen there, it would cost ridiculous amounts of money. i told him we would play for like 5 hours, and he said that we could, for $500 big ones. and i said see ya.

so looks like it isn't gonna happen at momo's, but i think this sparked enough interest that if we found a place we could meet n smash for cheap or free, we'd have a purty big turnout.

also, there has been some speculation on the CGA boards that there may be some biweeklies in the spring in the morrill tower lounge, its not official but "buttcrust" is workin on it

Well Rye doesn't have the interent at the moment but he's going to host a smashfest at his brother's place in Polaris on Wednesday 3-21 (thats tomorrow). I've tried to call a lot of you but the only person that picked up was Greg (Esper06), and D-Boy I hate your voicemail.

I'll talk to Rye to see if he can post his address but if not I'll try and post it this afternoon. Its near Orange Road in a housing development.
