Club Nintendo 2009 Elite Status Rewards announced

If during the year, you achieved either Gold or Platinum Status on Club Nintendo, you can redeem the one Gold reward, or one of three (including the Gold reward) rewards, respectively.

The rewards are:

PLATINUM

Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!

A download (available only to Platinum Club Nintendo Members) on the Wii of a fight between Little Mac and his trainer/mentor, Doc Louis. You don't need the retail version of the game to download it (I'm not sure about playing it, it just says in order to download it on the site).

Mario Hat

Pretty self-explanatory, a replica of Mario's hat. Life-size and wearable.

GOLD

Club Nintendo Original Calendar - 2010

A calendar with a different game featured in the picture each month.

Just thought I'd post this as a reminder to all Club Nintendo members since the deadline for ordering your prize is August 11th, and for anyone who's not a member in case they're curious what the prizes are.

I doubt it. Next year, though, if you have Gold or Platinum status, there will be another set of prizes. And keep in mind that after a Club Nintendo year ends (at the end of June), you lose Gold/Platinum status, so you missed out on a prize this year but unless the people who got a prize this year get a ton more games to get points for next year, they'll miss out on one next year. So it's a win/lose situation.

Also, I fixed something in the first post...I said you'd be able to redeem three prizes as a Platinum member, when you can only claim one.
