What are you talking about? His Down B "Buy somethin will ya?" attack is DEVASTATING. It totally breaks up Marth's chain grab combo, and ****s up JPuff's wall of pain something FIERCE.
Um... I was referring to the Shopkeeper from Link's Awakening for the GB - shoplift and you'll see what I mean...

Oh, him? His Super Smash, the lightning bolt of doom, is pretty nifty too.. I guess...

Yeah, I'd like to see Tom Nook do one of those - the best he has is the "Leg-bender Breaker" attack

At any rate, nice to see Bubbles get some attention - wish that was the case for Mach Rider... Am I the only one who sees his potential?

I see his potential. But is he as likely as some others? Maybe not.

I would love it if he had something similar to your moveset, though. How original :)

You know how if you dash and turn around real quick, your character skids a little? It'd be cool if for Bubbles, a poll quickly appears and she swings around on it.

None of your business.
Ya, Bubbles I was thinking the same thing. She would keep moving forward all the time, and one of her moves would be to pull up a ittle pin from the groung to turn around. If she is included, she would be a very hard character to get used to, but a neat addition.

:) For Bubbles in Brawl! I hope they add much more NES era characters, because that era has some of the best canidates. Personally, I'd like to see Mach Rider before Bubbles, but that's just me.

Same for me, but Bubbles is up there...

As far as the classic NES characters are concerened, my list goes like this:

1. Mach Rider
2. Takamaru
3. Mike Jones
4. Bubbles
5. Sukapon

That's how I rank 'em anyway...

Bubbles Normal / Red Colors

Bubbles Blue Colors

Bubbles Green Colors

Bubbles Black colors

Bubbles White Colors
The Black and White ones just look weird :p But the others are cool! Actually, Player 2 in Clu-Clu Land was always Green, but they'd have to have that costume regardless, huh?

Great job with the alternate color palettes hemightbeagiant. And I like the black and white looks - they're kinda creepy, which is good in my book.
Thanks, I'd play as the white one. If you can find a good pic of MAch Rider like those, I'll try to color edit them in!

ON TOPIC: What would Bubble's stage be? I was thinking those pegs she grabs could be attached to the wall and you can get on those like platforms, but they can wobble s Items can escape through each post, they wouldm wobble the mre yu moves on them, and attacking them would send them on a wiggle frenzy!

Bubbles will probalby be one of those characters who will have to share a stage this time around, likely with DK since she was an unlockable character in Donkey Kong: King of Swing. Also, the levels in Clu Clu Land were akin to that of the original Pac-Man - not all that discerable. I wouldn't expect anything more than a character apearence (along with maybe an item or too...), provided she even gets in... But there's always that opportunity to completely rework it from the ground up. The sky's the limit with this one, so if you have any ideas go ahead and post them.

On the blue planet next to the sun, can't miss it!
I support thios idea, as for moves, maybe one attack could be her swinging around the pole while you charge the b button, and when you let go, she's sent flying into someone, the more you charge could give you further distance and make it more powerful.
Off Topic: I liked your old avatar
On Topic: Bubbles is to kiddy to be in Brawl honestly. It's like sending The Powerpuff Girls to a Rob Zombie concert, bad things would happen. If Bubbles were a character God forbid, she'd be extremely light and her moves would be weak and she'd have one super powerful moves that players would use on an obsessive basis

Jeebus CHRIST! People started to complain that certain characters "weren't kiddy enough', now they're sayiong that they are "too kiddy"!? Will the madness ever cease?

This sounds interesting. I support this character. I played Clu Clu land and I liked it. It reminded me of Pac Man for some reason. I will problably laugh every time the announcer say's "Bubbles". Can you imagine multi player. The announcer goes, Samus, Snake, Fox..........Bubbles.

Well as far as the priority list goes for retro characters, poor Bubbles is somewhere in the middle - but it's not like that stopped the Ice Climbers. We'll just have to waint and see what Sakurai has in store for us... Here's hoping Bubbles makes the cut.

I do mostly for characters that I want in brawl, but I may do an exception, go to my banner shop in the artwork emporium...

Wow, I am finding all these characters that I used to love all over the place!

^^

Clu-clu Land was a very amuzing game!

I think I could see Bubbles in SSBB. She could use one of the little poles that she swings around in the game as weapon. (Kinda like a bow, no, not a bow and arrow you ninnies. Like what Donatello uses in TMNT.)
