Smash Champion

With all the talk of including classic Nintendo franchise characters to the SSBB roster, I'm suprised that there hasn't been one for Bubbles yet. She's the main protagonist of one of the NES's earliest titles - Clu Clu Land (Kuru Kuru Land in Japan).
It may also be worth noting that Bubbles made it in DK King of Swing as a secret playable character, so it's not like she's been forgotten about.
EDIT: FlipTroopa delivers once more with a moveset for our heroine Bubbles:
B: Sonic Boom -- Shoots off a soundwave that stuns enemies when it hits. Can bounce off walls, but it only reflects a very short distance. It WILL, however, knockback instead if it's a reflected soundwave. Always travels straight ahead of wherever Bubbles "sounded out."
Forward B: Typhoon Kick -- Bubbles slams down the pole into the ground, and kicks off into the air, spinning around the pole for about 3 rotations. This has high knockback, and if you hold B, she will remain spinning, building up speed, but not power. When she starts moving faster, it pulls opponents in instead of knocking them away, dealing a crazy "tornado" of damage as they are comboed upwards and flung out. This part of the attack lasts as long as you hold B. However, she is very vulnerable to projectiles and can still be hit by a well-timed or placed attack.
Up B: Flinger -- On the ground, Bubbles attaches the pole to the air (funky ) horizontally, and throws herself off it like a gymnast, doing a short flip and taking the pole with her. In the air, she does the same, but the pole bends much further, and flings her very high in a tucked roll. At the end of the jump, the pole reappears in her grasp, and she falls to the earth.
Down B: Whirlpool -- Similar to Pikachu's Thunder, albeit... backwards, and not as much range. Bubbles slams the pole down in front of her, creating a splash of water that forms into a powerful funnel. It travels upwards at half the height of Pikachu's Thunder, and pulls opponents downwards, dealing combo damage. They will slam into the ground and be pummeled until the attack ends. This is great for anti-air games, or setting up a throw. There's some lag afterwards, as she grabs her pole back.
