As for animated PNG, it's still just PNG. Go look it up on google. I don't know it well enough to explain. I know it's also technically possible to encode sound with GIFs, there's just never been a standardized format for doing so, thus it's never used cause you'd have to use all proprietary shiz. Something about the ability to store all kinds of data because it has to store multiple img files and loop info. I've found plenty of hidden RARs in gifs. It's pretty hilarious to know that there could be all kinds of info hidden out there that no one can find because they don't know where to look.
