@Stockfield: I've always wanted to get good with Snake myself. I just find it hard to use his explosives effectively in terms of placement and planning. I ought to find someone who can give me Snake tips (maybe you? :3).

Hey, guys, I've come to a realization: I've a ways to go in Brawl... not just on my R.O.B. game. During a wi-fi session, it seems all of my moves and approach attempts were easily predictable. Thankfully, the person I was Brawling started to spam air dodges and other approach methods while going a bit easy on me, as if to show me his technique.

Well anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that, if possible, maybe someone here could be a sparring R.O.B. partner, so that I may improve my R.O.B. game. Just wondering.

i think, if you want to improve as ROB, you should just like...play enough, and focus on the game enough, so that you can develop your own style. playing the same person a lot is bad, because instead of learning how to play the game, you learn how to play against them...which is totally different

Hmm. I suppose you're right. Well, at least I managed to learn a couple of useful things. Maybe I ought to incorporate what I've learned into my game and just keep improving with every match - win or lose - I enter... right? ^-^

That said, I would like to - at the very least test out my R.O.B. against another and see just how I really fair one day.

You should play against Sudai, JC, and Sil whenever you get the chance. They can give you protips. As for learning more about ROB, you should read the matchup threads. They give you detailed info + discussions on ROB's standing vs other characters.

Or you can just run away and spam projectiles all the time and win an unusually high percentage of the time.

I'm not worried about Suds McBubbles, he could leave Brawl for years and still come back and be pro. As for JC, I don't know how he is/can play, so yeah. Regardless of how they play, they were some of the original ROBros, so they can still give protips. I think HAB should be able to also.
