Steel decided to completely redo post bit related stuff, so now the majority of people who had anything unusual with their post bits got them reverted.

That is, my blank title got scrapped.

SWF is now operating under a User Recognition Project. Users who have made outstanding contributions to the site are now awarded a post bit color.

And yet a certain member got a completely colored post bit, simply because a joke ban lasted too long. And he gets to keep his colored post bit.

I'm not angry at the member, I'm not upset that I got my post bit normalized. It's just a post bit. I'm angry at the lack of equality that this situation carries.

Don't blame Steel, he is just in charge of the project and handling requests and stuff. Either way, edited post bits have to be manually changed by a admin and were being tossed around like nothing for a while so some stipulations had to be put in place obviously. A lot of members with colored post bits no longer have them, such as myself (I could probably get it but I'm lazy and don't feel like dealing with the process in getting it + having to bug Steel to change it whenever I want a new user title) and Teran.

I do remember hearing about the member that has one from the joke ban going to long, but I forget who it is. If you think it's unfair that they have one (I think it is too) then make a post in Forum Support and I'm sure they'll straighten it out. For all we know their post bit might be taken away with the new change, since they were originally given in before the change in policy. But yea, post bits is not a legit reason to "hate the administration so much" lol. Kind of childish if you're that upset over colored text.
