I can respect that post, but wonder why he and the rest of EC would think WC is not as good as it is in the first place

I think they never thought WC was good cuz they believed Pound 3 was a fluke, and they have the best smasher in the World (M2K), and they knew Mango has been winning here with his Secondaries, and EC had not respect for his Secondaries they believed they were terrible and the fact that he's been ****** WC with his "Terrible Secondaries", they believe they were by far superior to the WC, but now they experienced what Mango's secondaries can do and they realize now that Mango is flat out the best in World. I also think that Lovage and Zhu doing really well over gained the EC respect for the rest of the WC as well.

think about this now. mango has beaten m2k, pc, shiz, chu, cort, etc. pretty much all of their amazing players.
(i know shiz isn't EC but i don't care)
i think he's the best, right now.
the problem is, mango is one person.
zhu, jeff, lucky, lunin and paul are arguably the next tier below mango for california.
zhu didn't beat any of their greats.
paul hasn't done too much at all out of state.
lucky lost to macd in tournament (EL OH EL)
jeff randomly loses to tang, lunin, and germ. (not that those people aren't good)
while consistently loses to paul and zhu.
and lunin is ridiculously inconsistent and loses to people worse than him a little too often, imo.

i know everyone i spoke of can and would 3 and/or 4 stock me in tournament.
i'm speaking as a spectator.
all i'm saying is that WC has proven to have one great, they have like 8. haha

The only tech skill you need with Marth is spacing, like when to walk, when to turn around, how to pivot, how far the grab reaches, how to CG etc. They are really basic mindgames that don't require too much finger dexterity unlike Fox and Falco.

Also it depends on your style of gameplay. Marth can either be a wall of swinging swords, or campy *** mother ****er that has his back facing you the whole time.

Falcon has one of the most underrated metagames in tech skill. If you don't have it, you jump off the stage and die basically.

A lot has to go into consideration when pulling off a crazy falcon combo. What it all boils down to is spacing. Little things like, in order to chain Nairs, you gotta jump forward and DI backwards most of the time. Also there's a timing to chaining Uairs too. You usually don't wanna do Uairs immediately after leaving the ground. Any error in spacing results in a messed up combo, where you have to back off and look for another opening because you'll just get ***** spamming **** that was supposed to be in your combo.

Hm, there are some more examples, but I think you get the idea.
