No, Charizard has a low chance because few people wanna play with him. Charizard isn't as popular anymore. Lucario is and he will make it before Deoxys, Dragonite, or Charizard even get thought about as a charcter.

Heheh this thread is pretty funny to read through now that Charizard is in Brawl. Never had something against Charizard personally, it even used to be my favorite Pokémon for a period of time togheter with guess who? Pikachu and Mewtwo. And even though it's now fanboy Pokémon numbero unos, it's still pretty cool how Charizard made it as a playable character.

I'm really glad the starting 3 Pokemon finally got some decent representation and all in their best forms too (although Blastoise is definitely good too). Charizard was always my least favourite out of the 3, but really who the hell cares when all 3 get put in .

Blastoise is heaps cooler don’t you think? AND HE IS ACTUALLY NOT A FIRE TYPE!!!
What is it with fire types anyway? Every time a new pokemon game comes out everyone always picks the fire type starter.
For all the people that argue charizard is cool, have a think about franchises that based all their monster designs off “cool like” dragon wannabes. He is a stereo typical dragon that should be in Yugioh.

I too once had a fav fire pokemon.

I remember being a big fan of Magmar, and after watching magmar lose to Charizard in the old pokemon series I remember despising Charizard. That is the sole reason to me hating the ugly full of it's self fire lizard.

No I believe it's more to do with the fact that in the anime and movies and such Charizard has always been more represented than his prevolutions and Squirtle more so than his evolutions. Don't believe there's ever been a lot of the saurs and bulba, ivy and vena are all pretty popular so they went for the stage 1 -> stage 2 -> stage 3 thing.
