Well, this one is possible. He could have an interesting moveset using his paintbrush/Shadow Mario.
Yoshi series:

A good choice for a Yoshi rep, the main antagonist of the series, and he'd be a unique majic user.
Wario/Wario Ware series:

I don't see there being a WW rep in Brawl, but it's not impossible. Mona, Jimmy T, or maybe Ashley could fit.
Donkey Kong series:

Well, he'd be a unique add, and he is the antagonist for DK. I could see him getting in.
*Other DK reps
I don't think there would be any other rep(s), but it remains possible. Probably Dixie Kong for example.(etc.).
Zelda series:

I see her/him returning under Zelda's move set again. The fact that TP Zelda is being used, or tht she/he should be a stand alone character seem like arguments that aren't a real issue. I'm not counting her/him as an individual rep.
*Ganondorf
Returning with a new moveset. Not many people disagree.
*Midna
A very popular character in TP. She has recent popularity, but has only been in one game. Remains a maybe.
*Cel shaded Link
Well, he remains a very popular version to date, but I don't think we're getting any "different versions" of characters already represented. He still remains a strong possibility.
*Other reps
Vaati, Zant, Mask Link(New Young Link) and Tingle. Each has slim chances, but have a chance at least.
Kirby Series:

Mother series:
Lucas

Remains a strong possibility, would serve as an antagonist, and is bound to have an interesting move set.
*Ness
Very unlikely. I only say Ness still has a very small chance of still being in.
Metroid series:
Samus/Zamus
*I'd like to point out, I don't count her as a full rep, but a transformation of Samus
*Ridley
Clearly one of the most requested characters. Ridley would be an awesome addition to the Metroid reps.
*Dark Samus
Perfect canidate for the 3rd rep. The main antagonist in her games, and would be a very likely, if it wasn't for Prime's low popularity in Japan. I still say she'd be a good rep with decent chances, and NO, she would not be a clone of Samus.
Starfox series:
Fox
*Krystal
Shoo-in, female, unique move set, more SF reps, I could go on...
*Falco/Wolf
This one I belive will come down to Sakurai's preference. Wolf is very popular, and could serve as a villain for SF, but he could be somewhat "clone-ish"(I personally think he won't be a clone) and Falco was already in Melee, and was a clone in it. If they can come up with an original move set for Falco, I'd love to see him in it as well.

Fire Emblem series:

Immensly popular, most re-occuring FE Lord, had an original move set. I can't think why he won't return.
*Micaiah
Very unique magic user, female, latest FE Lord, and DOESN'T USE A SWORD!

There is many other plausible FE characters, question is which ones would be best? Eliwood, Sigurd, Black Knight and a few more would be good choices.
*Roy
Will he return? Many people think not, but it remains a possibility. Clones nay return with new movesets.
Pokemon series:
Pikachu
Pokemon Trainer
*Mewtwo
Why remove him? The thought that people think he'll be replaced by Lucario is insane. Mewtwo should return, either buffed up like Bowser, or with some better moves.
*Jigglypuff
If she doesn't return, you will wake up tommorrow with marker scribbles on your face.
*Lucario
Lucario has a pretty high chance of being the 2nd new Pokemon rep, but he should get his own moveset, not Mewtwo's.
*Other Pokemon
Not very likely......maybe if Lucario is deconfirmed...but still very unlikely.
F-Zero series

Mog was the mascot of FFVI (FFIII in the US), and would help promote the series as a whole. Plus, moogles are very popular in FF, right up there with Chocobos. If you're gonna flame me, at least read these

I still think he's got a chance, he was not flat out deconfirmed. He's obviously popular, and if there is any hope, he'll still be in.

I'm already pushing it with 5, I don't think that many others stand out. A few honorable mentions are Kloanoa, Slime(DQ), Pac-Man(wakka wakka), other FF reps, and a few others I can't think of.
