Character Intros - BACK!

PLEASE don't make Pikachu's that Pokéball again. The only reason Pikachu was popular enough to be in Smash Bros. in the first place was the anime, and in the anime he never went in his Pokéball.

Mario's, Samus's, Fox's, Donkey Kong's, Yoshi's, Link's, Diddy's, MK's, and Sonic's have all been confirmed, All the Veterans so far hav the same entrance.
The first time i thought Chracter Entrances came back was in the Snake vid where he fought mainly Mario, where he was attracting lightning and then looked up

Snake will use the electric thing from his video, related to the time travelling done in some of the MGS games. I just know it from MGS3's "Metal Gear Raiden" video.

I'm so happy that personalized entrances are back!!! Although I understand why they did it the way they did in Melee (they were trophies coming to life, so they all had the same type of pedestal), one of the things that I really liked in the original Smash were the entrances.

I can't wait to see G&W's entrance - maybe he'll jump out of a Game & Watch handheld, which will then promptly zip away.

Woohoo! They are back! When I made up my Toad Moveset his intro was 8 bit Mario hitting a ? box and a mushroom comes out that then grows body arms and legs and becomes Toad. But maybe its a bit too long.
And in my Midna moveset she teleports there

What I'm really glad about is that entrances are back.

What sort of disappoints me is Link's intro. WTF?

And another thing - the victory screens are way too fast for my liking. You need to sit there for a bit and watch the char mock everyone... that's just better.

So far, the only NEW introd I've seen in Sonic boucing in; all the other characters I've seen were ones in SSB, and their Entrances were the same (except Link, who seemed to spin in, using the wind...).

Link's looks more like it's akin to WW than TP.

I was thinking more on the lines of the original NES Legend of Zelda. He appears to be transported into the stage via a tornado, much like the tornado (summoned by the flute) would transport Link to different areas.

yeah you're right....like he should come down from the sky in little black squares and form into Link...because it is Link from Twilight Princess....that would make more sense

Basically a more "heavenly" feel. It's a huge beam of holy white light instead of the ocarina time magic. otherwise pit comes down in it in a similar fashion to link64.

My friend and I would occasionally mentioned the lack of entrances in Melee and be sad about it when playing but now we can be happy with Brawl. It's kind of funny because they bring no usage or depth to the game play whatsoever but they are just so cool!

He does that cape swirl thing.

He just drops out of the shy looking like a cloth spun around, spins once he lands, then reveals himself ^^
