I think our rosters have reached a certain standard...they all contain mostly the same characters except for a few wanted choices.

Take mine un-conservative one, for example.

And thus it wasn't thought about much past a vague idea.

What I could see is if Lucina (and potentially others, in this scenario) was a "Striker" assist character to Chrom, like she pops in for certain attacks.

And thus it wasn't thought about much past a vague idea.

To give the Chrom and Lucina idea credit, it is a possible way to introduce the main character of Awakening to the roster in a unique way that actually makes sense given the importance of the Pair Up feature in Awakening. I consider it more thematically fitting for the characters than Chrom using a stance change move set based around a lance, for instance. However, I do have to question how exactly that sort of dual character system would work, how it would be interesting and different from the previous dual characters we've seen, and if it's worth going through all those technical difficulties to add such a character to the roster.

Kind of questioning the lack of a new Fire Emblem character (among other things), even if it would be replacing Ike. Especially since you have characters like Tom Nook, Kawashima, and Sable on there instead.

I really dislike this roster. Jigglypuff and Snake are cut, there's no K. Rool, Ridley, or Chrom, and instead there's Zoroark, Sable, Nook, and Kawashima...yeah. Really can't say I'm a fan of this. Is this really your prediction roster? Or a wish roster?

Not that I think that it's impossible to have an RPG character on a different row, but I feel that it's more likely that will be the outcome, whatever 2 RPG characters Sakurai adds.
No row roster wars please, I get how a newcomer shouldn't be excluded because of roster design, but that is how I feel what will happen.

Still could be worse. But I get the gist. There's some really off choices we see everywhere, some here, some on other sites. Hence why I always try and play it safe barring a certain waddle dee.
